Event Overview
The 8 Hour Relay is a team-based endurance event that combines strategy, consistency, and teamwork. Over the course of 8 hours, teams rotate runners in a fixed order, working together to maintain strong performance and rhythm throughout the race.
This unique format challenges both individual endurance and team coordination, creating an exciting and high-energy race atmosphere.
Team Format

Each team consists of 8 runners

Each runner completes two running segments

Each segment is 30 minutes

Total running time per runner: 1 hour
Race Format

The race runs continuously for 8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Teams must follow a fixed running order (no changes allowed)

One runner per team is on the track at a time

Each runner completes their 30-minute segment before the next teammate begins
The rotation continues until all runners complete their two segments
Categories
Participants will compete in the following team divisions:
Open

No gender or age restrictions
Mixed
-
Each team must include at least 3 female runners
Masters
-
All team members must be 45 years of age or older
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top-performing teams in each category:
